Honest L’Oreal True Match Foundation Review and First Impressions!

P1060380

As you are all probably aware if you read yesterdays blog, I purchased a new foundation which was the L’Oreal True Match Foundation in the colour Golden Ivory. I tried it out for the first time this morning and if I am honest, I have mixed opinions on it. I originally thought the packaging was lovely and sleek however when I pumped the foundation on my hand it just trickled down the side of the bottle so to make sure it doesn’t you have to tip it up right. This is totally fine but then again you shouldn’t have to. I’m just going to get the negatives over and done with so another disadvantage is that it is very watery, so should in fact be easy to blend, however it sticks to dry skin like glue and makes it super obvious. It creases loads around the eyes and feels quite greasy on the skin. However saying this its on ‘okay’ foundation considering the cheap price. The foundation matches my skin tone well and it makes it seem like there is nothing on my skin, creating a light feel to your face. A good base for summer foundations. Also once blended it does sit nicely upon the skin. But before I end this blog post I want to stress that these were my own impressions and views of the product.

  1. Lovely honest review, I have this foundation and absolutely love it. I have dry skin and I just love the consistency and feel that it is the right thing for my skin. Love your blog xx
