I picked these up when I went shopping a week or so ago because I had heard good reviews on them, especially the one in Birthday Suit, however I picked up two different colours because I already have a NYX liquid lipstick which is very similar. I just want to apologise for the awful pictures (they are ewwwww), but honestly they were the best to show you the results.
Just as a disclaimer I want to say that any opinion on my reviews are from my own personal experience and if I seem harsh, I don’t mean to be, I happen to be quiet a blunt person… LOL ( I can’t believe I just said lol)…
I picked up Shabby Chic and Vino Tinto because I love a good dark lip and I thought the Shabby Chic would be a good match for a Kylie Jenner Lip Kit dupe. I have mixed opinions on this product. The Shabby Chic is more dark and mauve toned than pink, however I love this colour. And the Vino Tinto is more dark however it is the PERFECT colour for autumn if your brave enough to wear it. They are also long lasting, the Shabby Chic more than the Vino Tinto, however they are very hard to get off with just a normal makeup wipe, but that does show that you will be able to eat without it coming off! The consistency if very thick, which for the Shabby Chic is alright as it doesn’t need many coats to see the colour, however Vino Tinto is quite patchy, so needs more coats making it heavy on your lips. But I preferred Vino Tinto because it dries nicely, where as with too many coats with Shabby Chic it was super sticky on my lips and that was not enjoyable! I should have used a lip brush to apply it as precision was hard but I was in a rush. Overall I would perhaps try another colour, and I would recommend these to anyone starting to experiment with lipstick, as they are very affordable so you can use them to try out what colour you think suits you.
