Before I go into the main focus of this post I just want to let you all know that I won’t be blogging now for two weeks (ish) because I am off on my hols. I was going to pre-write and upload blog posts which would then be scheduled to be posted without me needing to do anything but I know I will worry about my posts so I am not going to fuss with it. I may do an update blog half way through but I will be posting regularly on instagram!
Anyway, I may have mentioned this product before but I’m not to sure, but this is the W7 In The Buff Eye Shadow Palette. It is a gorgeous palette which you can buy multiple different colour ones, just like you can with Urban Decay’s Naked Palette. However if you are like me, a student on a smaller budget than snazzy makeup artists, it is hard to fork out on a really expensive Naked palette. So I have looked hard and far to find what I believe is the best all round dupe what combines all the Naked palettes. The W7 In The Buff Palette has a range of 12 different, and very pigmented eye shadows which allow you to create a variety of different eye looks. They are easy to work with and blend well, with them also being soft. I know it sounds strange saying soft or smooth but what I mean is tat you don’t spend ages trying to get the tiniest amount of product on your brush. The colours include matte and shimmery shades so you can use the palette to create suitable day and night looks. Because it is so diverse it is good for travelling, but it is a bit on the larger size. The best thing though is the price. The Urban Decay Naked palettes all cost £38.50, buttttt the W7 In The Buff palette only costs £4.50 (off amazon but I think elsewhere it coould be up to £7.00). The bummer is that since I have purchased this – which wasn’t that long ago – it has been discontinued but I will link it to a good source.
Have you tried this palette?
