You honestly have no idea how long I have been waiting for lush to release their Halloween products for me to buy… I have literally been waiting for this since they last left the shop. But at last, they popped into shops on Friday and I picked up every Halloween bath products. They also brought in Halloween shower gels and soaps etc, but I only brought the bath products because at the moment I have way to many soaps and shower gels. Honestly my collection could last me for years! When I got into my local Lush shop with my friends, it was honestly like ‘GRAB ANYTHING HALLOWEEN AND DON’T BOTHER SMELLING IT’. You can tell how excited I was/still am!!
Don’t judge I also popped in an ‘Intergalactic‘ bath bomb because I haven’t had it in ages and I love it so much! If you don’t know what it smells like then it is a very strong peppermint smell, that almost smells slightly masculine, but leaves you smelling gorgeous and covered in glitter!
You will have to bare with me as my description of scents is not top notch!
First I picked up the ‘Autumn Leaves‘ bath bomb. The best way to describe this is that it smells like those cold autumn mornings where you can smell the damp dewy grass underneath the layer of crisp leaves. That’s in a good way though… My initial reaction was ‘omg it actually smells like a leaf’. It is nice and fresh and I feel like it would be perfect when the nights are pulling in and the leafs are actually falling off the trees. This is definitely the most autumnal scent of all of them, so if that’s your jam then you should definitely get this one.
The second bath bomb I frantically picked up was ‘Monsters Ball‘. This is one of the two new bath bombs in Lush’s Halloween range. This is the one which is purple and has a little eye like a monster! It is very cute and looks like it has just come out of Monsters Inc. This lime smelling bath bomb is another very fresh scent. They little eye is also made of a bath butter, like they make the bath melts from, which will really moisturize your skin and make it feel so soft. I can’t imagine all the different blue and purples this will create in the bath tub. It looks too cute to use!
The other new bath bomb is called ‘Pumpkin‘ and I bet you can see what one this is! It is just like a Jack-o-Lantern! This is a vanilla scent with hints of pumpkin and cinnamon spices, just like home baking with the left over pumpkin from carving them. This scent actually makes me crave a pumpkin spiced latte from Starbucks! It is not what you would expect, as I wasn’t expecting it to be as vanilla-ry and sweet as it is, but it smells so yummy!
I also picked up the good old classic ‘Lord Of Misrule‘ bath bomb. This comes out nearly every year without fail and thank god it does because it is so good. I seriously think it needs to be available all year around. It has a sot of woody scent, and you can just about smell the black pepper oil in it. It is such a hard scent to describe but honestly its amazing, and – SPOILERS – it comes out a gorgeous wine colour!
I also got some non bath bomb products. I got the ever so loved ‘Sparkly Pumpkin‘ bubble bar. One of my best friends is obssessed with this product and I don’t blame her because it is super cute, very glittery (which is amazing) and smells gorgeous. The glittery is a bit messy but I love it because it wouldn’t be a sparkly pumpkin without it! It smells much more spicy and more like a pumpkin scent than the ‘Pumpkin‘ bath bomb, a bit more of a harsh scent rather than sweet. It is also rather citrusy which again makes it fresh upon your skin.
Last but by no means least in my lush haul is the tiny but ever so cute ‘Boo‘ bath melt. I have never tried a bath melt but the lovely lush assistant told me that you just pop it in when he water s running and it will make bubbles and melt away into the water leaving it scented like a bath bomb or bubble bar would. It smells of ginger and gingerbread men and is what I feel perfect for autumn going into winter. It is also made out of cocoa butter which is super good for your skin and makes it feel silky soft!
I was actually really surprised when came to the till and it only cost me £27.90. I thought I would spend much more than that but that means I have more for next week! I am still so excited about these products, and the fact that the Christmas items come out this Friday as well excites me even more. No doubt will I also do a haul on that!
The products I got:
Have you picked up any of these yet and tried them?
p.s I used Intergalactic earlier and it was heavenly!
