Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

I know I have done a similar blog post before like this comparing this concealer and the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer but I didn’t specifically go into excessive detail for either of them and it is a really old blog post. I thought as this is my all time favourite concealer and I use this every day then it would be silly not to blog about it on its own. I have been using the Collection concealer for as long as I can remember. I had heard good things about it from different YouTubers and I knew that Zoella raved about it in nearly all her makeup videos, hence why I thought perhaps I should by this. It is really cheap to buy and you can get it from your local Boots or Superdrug or supermarket, but sometimes they can be sold out because they are highly popular.

I have two shades of this concealer, 01 Fair and 02 Cool Medium. I use the lightest shade Fair, to highlight my chin, cupids bow, nose forehead and under my eyes… so basically the areas which you highlight. I then use the darker shade to cover any blemishes or uneven skin patches. The consistency of the concealer is actually thicker than any other liquid concealer I have tried before, however it gives a really good heavy coverage. This means that if you are running late for work or school for example you can just skip foundation and use the concealer. I have had to resort to that a few times…! But because it is quite thick, if you put too much on then it can crease underneath the eyes and look cakey so just beware of that! To blend mine in I use a wet makeup sponge, because if I use a dry one I find it slightly harder to blend in. Like it says on the bottle it does last a really long time but like any concealer or foundation if you rub your skin it will come off. Damn you concealer marks for ruining white tops!!

However if I were to change it I would make it a slightly bigger bottle as I find I go through them rather quickly, and in terms of concealers it is on the smaller side. Saying that, it is very cheap for the amazing quality of the product so I can’t really complain!

If you were to get a new concealer I would recommend trying this one for sure! There is only four shades, so it’s not the largest collection but I feel that they cover all skin types anyway.

Have you tried this concealer? If so let me know in the comments what you think of it!
