‘Eye spy with this little eye something beginning with BOO! This monster mash-up of lime and neroli oils is a sure fire way to get the party started, and leave you feelin’ Franken-fine all night long.‘
I had planned to do a different blog post today but I had a bath when I got home from school and whenever I use a new or exciting bath bomb I will take some photos as they are really colourful. As this is a new bath bomb to Lush’s Halloween Collection I thought I would review it.
I saw this bath bomb in my local lush store and I thought it was super cute. It reminded me of a creature you would have thought you’d see in Monster’s Inc. Like a cross between Boo and Mike! Can you see the resemblance? I also thought this would make an amazing bath because the monsters eye is made out of Cocoa Butter which leaves your skin feeling very nourished and soft.
The scent is a cross between floral and lime, and I quite liked it because the scent wasn’t over powering. Some bath bombs can be very strong smelling which can sometimes give me a headache, but I loved this one! It might be stronger as my smell range is limited as I have the most awful cold at the moment but still I loved the scent.
I thought this bath bob would leave my bath a lovely shade of pink but I was surprised (in a good way of course) when it turned out to be a purple-blue colour. It’s like when you pop golden wonder in the bath and the bath shockingly turns an amazing dark teal.
Going back to the eye made out of cocoa butter, I can’t quite pinpoint what the ‘pupil‘ is made out of as it melts into the water and smelt quite chocolately! I think the bath bomb also contained an exfoliating product which is really good for your skin because not only does it exfoliate your skin it then moisturises it. The bath bomb was also a slow fizzer, which allowed it to make a pretty array of blues, purples and pinks on the top of the water.
I think this bath bomb is very cute and perfect if you want to have a cosy night in on halloween.
Have you tried this bath bomb or any from Lush’s Halloween Collection?
