• October Favourites

I wasn’t actually going to upload my monthly favourites this month because it is a little repetitive of other blog posts I have uploaded this month, but I haven’t skipped one (I don’t think anyway) since I started blogging so I am going to share a few things I have been loving with you anyway.
One: Makeup Revolution Ultra 32 Eyeshadow Palette Flawless. I keep going on about this eye shadow palette but honestly I can’t get enough of it. It is so, so cheap and the colours are all pigmented. I have done loads of day and night looks with this palette so far and the choices are endless. They are cheaper eyeshadows, so you do get a bit of fall off but you are able to wipe it away easily.
Two: Mua Lipstick in Shade 2 and Shade 3. I got these in my stocking for Christmas last year (can’t wait for Christmas this year!) and I have used them so many times since but I have never mentioned them separately. But you know for a £1 lipstick they are really good. Okay, they aren’t as silky as a Mac lipstick for example, but they are bold and do the job really well. They are good if you are on a budget too.
Three: Seveteen Lip Lustre in Polished. I am not normally a lip gloss lover, like when it is windy as then your hair is prone to getting stuck into it, however this season lip gloss is making a return. I don’t own many lip glosses, but with the Seventeen Lip Lustre you can apply it on top of any lipstick of your choice and it will give it a lovely glossy shine. It isn’t too stick or thick which I find is so much better than some lip glosses out there.
Four: Mac Lipstick Velvet Teddy. This lipstick has been in many, many of my posts before and all I can say is if you don’t have it… why?! It is a gorgeous nude colour and I have repurchased it many times. The reason why I put it in my favourites though is because I have been wearing it to school an awful lot this month and I couldn’t not.
Five: Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in 01 Fair and 02 Cool Medium. This is one of those products that is raved by most bloggers or youtubers. I do also love this concealer because it has the quality of a high end concealer. I tend to use the darker shade for covering blemishes and then the lighter shade for highlighting and under my eyes. It is quite thick so for some people I know they don’t apply it under their eye but I like it.
Six: Garnier BB Cream Original in Light. This month I have been finding myself reaching for this BB Cream. I don’t know what it is but I find that when I can’t really be bothered to do a full face of heavy makeup, I will apply this as it is so light on the skin and is really nourishing.
Seven: Bare Minerals Shimmer Eyeshadows in Sex Kitten, Drama, True Gold. I included these in my halloween post because I thought they would be useful for halloween makeup ideas as they were so pigmented. But I have also been using them because I have had them in my makeup collection for ages. They are like glittery loose powders so are harder to apply than normal eyeshadow but they blend out so well! I like to just sweep Drama across the whole of my lid and blend it out.
Eight: Bare Minerals Sheen Eyeshadow in Waterlily and Snowflake. This is the same as the Shimmer Eyeshadows. I got them in the same pack but Waterlily is such a gorgeous lilac colour. It is light on the eyes and really makes my green eyes pop. Snowflake is a good colour to put on the inside corner of your eyes to make them seem larger.
What have you been loving lately?

Great faves. Def has to be my Morphe 350 for me this month. Have not put it down. But I just got the ABH RENAISSANCE Palette so we will see if it’s still a fave next month 😂 💛

Nice post! I know what you mean about not wanting a full face of make-up.
