November Favourites

“It’s the most wonderful time of the year..!”

It’s blogmas! I am so excited to be doing my first ever blogmas and I am even more excited to be reading through everybody else’s blogmas posts too! I thought that even though this is not very Christmassy I would share with you what I loved throughout November. There aren’t actually very many things on my list as I did a blog in the middle of November on my Non-Beauty Favourites (you can find that here.)  But there are some things that I have been obsessed with.

First I have loved the Lady’s Mantle and Yarrow Face Mask that I was kindly sent by Naturelle Cosmetics. I used it once before I did a whole blog post on it but since I have used it a few times and I have seen such a dramatic difference in my skin. Basically because it is a clay based face mask it sucks out all the bad things in your skin. The first couple of times I used it, it caused my skin to go slightly spotty, more than I usually am as I have fairly good skin, however that is how you notice that it is working. It has improved my skin so much and is a really powerful face mask.

Secondly is the Sleek Matte Me in Vino Tinto. I know I have reviewed this before, and sort of slated it saying it was patchy and sticky, however I applied it more accurately and with a thinner layer and it has been a perfect colour for autumn. It is a lovely wine colour and is matte which I will always pick a matte lipstick or liquid lipstick over a glossy one!

Next is the Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer. I know I have been blabbing on about this in so many of my blogs but it is honestly such a good concealer. It is super light under the eye and doesn’t crease. The only thing I would say is that the shade ‘light’ isn’t very light and is quite yellow based, which suits me because I have an olivey skin tone, but it may not be the best for some people with a pink based skin tone.

Lastly I loved the Bobbi Brown Art Stick in Hot Pink. Even though I was wearing lots of dark lips for autumn I also started wearing this hot pink lipstick by Bobbi Brown. As it is like a pencil it is really pigmented and not streaky. It is easy to apply because you can sharpen the pencil to create a really thin point to get the best precision. It would rub off if I ate something but most lipstick do.

What did you love in November? Please leave links to your Blogmas posts below so I can check them out!

  1. That Maybelline concealer has to be really good, but I’m afraid to buy it because there are no testers in the store and I think it’s too dark for me. Maybe when there’s a discount I will try this one out♥. Great post btw
