“Step into Christmas, Step in together…”
Christmas in my books is all about giving. Whether it is giving your friends or family Christmas presents or Christmas cards I love it. I love being able to buy gifts for my friends as I just find it so exciting. However sometimes I do struggle because I never really know what to get my friends and I know my mum struggles getting gift ideas off me. Because my birthday is only days before Christmas I often have to give double the amount of gift ideas and I just end up getting money because I run out of ideas. However this is I have chosen a load of gifts and I have also got some ideas if you are struggling to get your mum, friend, sister or girlfriend a present. I have tried to make the products varied in price as well so there will be cheaper things mentioned and then also some more expensive products.
One: BodyShop Products. At this time of year the BodyShop are really good for presents. They even have a booth in stores where you can select a certain amount of products and then you get them gift wrapped! Last year I got the lollipop gift of their lip balms and I was so happy because I love the BodyShop lip balms, they are also a staple in most girl’s makeup bag! I also like the Christmas themed shower gels and I picked up this little shower gift set called ‘The Frosted Berries Treat Box‘ for only £8. They are cheap and you can never go wrong with a shower gift set as a present.
Two: Zoella Hungry Hands Hand Cream. This is just an example of many of Zoella’s products from her Christmas range but anything from her Christmas range is great if you are being for a teen. I specifically love the hand cream because it leaves my hands so soft and it smells amazing. I even find my mum often trying to use my hand cream when I am not watching because it smells like freshly baked gingerbread! They are also relatively cheap, depending what product you get, and if the recipient is a Zoella fan then they are in for a treat!
Three: Anything Lush! This is a good product idea for all ages because you can pick up a festive themed bath bomb, or a shower gel or bubble bar. You can then also get a knot wraps to wrap an individual present. Or if you can’t decide what to get then you can buy pre-made and pre-wrapped presents. I get one every year from my god parents and I love them because they are wrapped so delicately and when you open up the box the smell is amazing. The pre-made gifts can range from anywhere in between £9 up to £200! I would say be careful when buying something from Lush because I know a few of my friends can’t use Lush products because they get an allergic reaction to them, however most people are normally fine using them!
Four: A Glitzy Watch. Who wouldn’t want a glitzy and trendy watch?! I always wear my watch and I have one that is rose gold and then a pink one for work but the good thing about watches is that you can either spend little on them or a lot and they will still look nice. I got my rose gold watch from Walmart when I went to Florida and it was only something like $14 but I would get so many compliments off it. Or you could choose a watch like an Olivia Burton watch because they are honestly so god damn beautiful but it is a little more expensive!
Five: A Pandora Bracelet or Ring. I got a Pandora bracelet from my parents last year for my birthday and then I got the charms off other relatives and friends for Christmas. They are so pretty and the good thing about them is that they are buildable (so you can always ask for another charm if you’re stuck on present ideas) and they will last a lifetime. A bit like a charm bracelet, once you have one they mean a lot. Also a Pandora Ring is a good gift idea because they are really good quality and I think every girl dreams of having a Pandora Ring. I have this one on my Christmas List. However again Pandora is slightly expensive but it is worth it if you have the money. It is more a present for your mum or girlfriend rather than just a friend because it is quite expensive.
The products mentioned are:
- The Body Shop Frosted Berries Treat Box
- Zoella Hungry Hands Hand Cream
- Olivia Burton
