• Winter Skin Care Routine

“Good King Wenceslas looked out, On the feast of Stephen”
I try and keep up a regular skin care routine but sometimes it is hard. Before school in the morning I don’t have time where as before bed sometimes I can’t be bothered to go through the whole routine and I just take my makeup off with a makeup wipe. I know I need a proper routine because my skin can go through good stages but also bad stages but I just find it rather laborious. However since the start of December I have been trying to keep up a steady routine that I do morning and night. I have to admit that I don’t always have time to do it but I have tried my best so far.
In the morning I use the Eyes Contour by Senteurs du Sud. This is an eye cream by a French brand which I was sent by Naturelle Cosmetics a few weeks ago. I use this in the morning as part of prepping my face for makeup. I don’t use my normal primer on my eyes an instead I use this. I was a bit weary of this product as I had never heard of it but I do really like it. It isn’t too runny or thick and is smooth to apply.
Then in the evening I use three separate products. Firstly I do take the majority of my makeup off with a face wipe so that when I am doing the rest of my routine I can get rid f any excess makeup. Then I use the Clean and Clear Clear & Soothe Daily Scrub. This is an exfoliator which is actually quite harsh on the skin but it pulls out all the bad things and the makeup that has collected in your pores. I don’t use it every day purely because I don’t want to be too harsh on my skin. I wet my face and rub this on and then wash it off using my flannel.
Next to remove any oil and grease I use the Lush 9 to 5 Cleansing Lotion. As you might know I am a huge Lush fan because of their bath bombs but also it is because of their skin care products. This is so nice on your skin and made from natural products and it leaves my skin feeling so soft. I use a cotton pad to massage it into my face and then I wash it off again with my flannel.
Finally I use the Lush Tea Tree Toner Water to finish off my routine. This is really good for anyone who breaks out quite often or if you want to avoid any break outs because the tea tree reduces the amount of spots. And it works! I have seen such an improvement in my skin and this is the one thing I always use regardless if I just use a makeup wipe to remove my makeup or if I do a full routine. To use this is spray it a few times on my face and rub it off using a cotton wool pad.
That is my full winter skin care routine!
Let me know below if you use any of the same products as me or if you don’t what products do you use?

I think I paid something like £4-£5 but you can pay more if you want a bigger bottle!
