March 2017 Favourites

I should have perhaps done this blog post a little sooner than I have but I haven’t had time to take photos, getting all my lighting and backdrops out etc… BUT HERE IT IS. I actually struggled this month because I haven’t really bought anything new, and I have been away for a large proportion of the month so I haven’t had time to try out anything new. However I have been using some different products make up wise and I have actually been loving them. You sometimes forget about products you have once you buy something new so it is weird to go ‘Ohhh I forgot I had this!‘.

So first up is the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Watermelon Soda. I know that Jeffree Star himself is a little controversial however when I asked for this product I didn’t really know about him. Instead I saw this liquid swatched on instagram and I fell in love with the shade. And I am so glad I have it because I think it is one of the best liquid lipstick formulas out there. It is so long-lasting and I can go all day and eat plenty of times and it will still be there. It isn’t drying either and I also love the brush because it is molded onto a shape which makes it easy to apply.

Another lip product that I have been loving is the Chubby Stick Baby Tint Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in Budding Blossom. This is a lip balm which is a little more on the expensive side, however I love it because I don’t like wearing lip balm as I find it so thick on the lips. However this is nice and thin, but is still moisturizing and it gives you a lovely natural colour on your lips. I love how it is in a crayon shaped pencil as its easy to apply.

The next one is a moisturizer which I have nearly run out of and its the Olay Essentials Double Action Day Cream. I am SO BAD at moisturizing and I know I should because it will make my skin look better now and when I am older but I hated the sticky feeling it left on your face. This though is light and non-greasy like it claims. It also makes my skin feel really soft which is a definite bonus!

The Rimmel Extra 3D Lash is also in my favourites because I started using it again when I lost my Mac mascara (which don’t worry I have found now *PHEW*). This is one of those cases where you put down a product, and start using a new one and forget how good the old one was. This mascara is really good for not smudging. I love my Mac one but I don’t put it on my bottom lashes as it rubs off under my eyes. However this one doesn’t, and it has a really nice formula which isn’t heavy on your lashes making them nice and voluminzied.

Lastly is actually some earrings. I have been dying to get my hands on some hoop earrings because that whole 80s vibe has become really popular again. And guess where the best place is to buy them from?! PRIMARK. For only £1!! There are 6 different sizes from big to small and they aren’t too heavy on your ears. I never used to change my earrings but now I love to put these in.

What have you been loving lately?
