Does ‘Beauty Milk’ Work?!

IMG_4354

If you have been amazing and have been following my blog for a while you will know that a few months ago I did review of some protein products because I do in fact go to the gym and I like to try to look after myself. I say this however I went to the gym a few days ago for the first time in a month (boy-o-boy did I feel the burn the next day) however I blame the exams as revision took up the majority of my spare time.

I was so interested in UFIT’s protein shakes and I was really happy when they contacted me about sending some over to me. From past experience I can say that I really liked ready-made protein shakes, but not so much protein powder which you add to milk or water, so already before even trying the product I had high hopes.

UFITs Collagen + Beauty Milk contains vitamins, green tea extract, antioxidants and 12g of protein and claims to be really good for helping to clear up problematic skin. I don’t have ‘bad skin’  however I do have breakouts every now and then and I am prone to dry skin so I was really interested to see whether beauty milk really worked.

UFIT sent me four bottles of the Beauty Milk and I have had two so far. What I really liked about it when I first opened it is that the company sent me a little note too. I think all bloggers can agree on the fact that you can tell a good company by the fact they take time to put a hand written and personalized note in it. Or is that just me? Ha Ha!

You have to shake the drinks really well before you drink them because if you don’t the protein won’t be mixed in properly and you will find little white spots in it. This is normal and it does also mention it on the bottle. Also just pop it in the fridge because I didn’t and that was a regret.

It is strawberry flavored and I love strawberry milkshake however it is very VERY sweet and it can be quite hard to drink quickly if you don’t like majorly sweet things. However the bottle is small but I think because it is quite sweet it is the perfect size.

But what everyone is probably wanting to know… Does Beauty Milk work?? Does it work wonders for your skin?? I genuinely think that it has improved my skin. I have had the two drinks within four days of each other and my skin hasn’t had a problem and my dry skin on my forehead has actually cleared up. This might be due to the fact that I haven’t been wearing as much makeup lately however I think this has helped.

I have looked at the reviews on the website too, just to see what other people have thought about it and the reviews are really positive. It also has apparently helped with people’s general health and you don’t have to be into fitness or be a gym guru to drink this because it is good for your general well-being.

You can find the Collagen + Beauty Milk here.

Do you think this could be something you would like to try?

  1. I’m always quite wary of Protien shakes because my coach is so anti them but because of this I sort of really want to try them! This one in particular sounds perfect because I do struggle with problem skin and need anything that says to improve beauty I can get! I’m not sure if I’d like the flavour as strawberry isn’t really a favourite of mine but I guess we’ll have to see!

    1. Have you ever tried McDonalds Strawberry milkshake? It tastes like that if you have tasted that before. I was very weary of it too because I am not into body building or anything, but in actual fact if you have it in small amounts it is healthy as things like this drink contain vitamins too. Thanks for reading Kate

  2. Wow I have sure never heard of this but am interested enough to give it a try! When I was taking prenatal vitamins before getting pregnant I felt they helped improve my skin, so I don’t see why a drink packed with similar type things couldn’t help. What area of the world do you live in and where did you find it?
