I don’t think I have ever been more excited to do a blog post than this one… I haven’t even got the Christmas items yet!! That’s right, it’s that time of the year where I do indeed do another Lush Halloween Haul. I haven’t gotten that many items this year, last year I really splashed the cash and got everything leaving my bankrupt for the next two months… Yeahhhhh whoops!
But trust me walking into Lush and seeing all the amazing halloween products on offer and not getting them all was a real struggle… I narrowed my options down to three ~ I regret not getting the Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb ~ but I might end up getting more you never know…
The first one I put my hands on without having a second thought was the << Sparkly Pumpkin >>. This is a lush CLASSIC and comes out every single year without fail. When someone asks me what is one of my fave Lush products this is on the list. It has actually a fresh scent and you can get quite a floral hint from it. However the cinnamon stick in the end gives it that little spice. It — obvs — turns your bath orange but the sight of the glitter swirling around is magical. if you are going to try one then pick this one. You can get two baths out of it too so more bang for your buck!
The only bath bomb I got was the << Pumpkin >> bath bomb. This is a large bath bomb in… well you guessed it… the shape of a pumpkin. This is not like the pumpkin bubble bar because it is a much sweeter smell, a bit like if you had spiced-pumpkin cupcakes (Yes they are a thing and taste SOOOOO good!) It is sweet because it contains vanilla – one of my favourite scents – and it contains antioxidants making it a good bath bomb if you really want to cleanse your body. It also is very orange smelling ~ more so than last year ~ so you get a citrus twang to it too. It is more citrus than spice so if you want something more spiced then the sparkly pumpkin bubble bar is better.
The last bubble bar I go my hands on was the << Bewitched >> bubble bar. This cute cat looking bath bomb is new to Lush’s halloween collection this year. One things I noticed was that, on the website, the reviews stated it smelt a lot like the Comforter Bubble Bar and Snow Fairy, however that’s not quite the case. It does smell amazing though. It is a sweet scent, but has woody undertones making it also a masculine scent. I can’t get over it, as it also smells like lime and I bet it will look so pretty in the bath. I haven’t used it yet, and it looks too cute to use, but I can’t wait.
I wish I gotten some of the old classics too… however there is the Christmas range out too so prepare for a hugeeeee Christmas Lush Haul coming soon!
