• Revlon PhotoReady Powder I Love You

Before we start the actual blog post can we just appreciate how pretty my new phone case is from iDeal of Sweden! It is soooo glamorous and just makes me want to go back to summer!
A month or so or go I was going through a bit of a panic stage because the powder I was using was not doing it for me. It was an old fave and I just didn’t feel the product was up to scratch as it used to be. Then when I did the good ol’ google of what drug store products were the best I couldn’t find any that I really liked the look of. I was in the moments “I DON’T HAVE THE MONEY TO GET A GOOD HIGH END POWDER BUT I NEED SOMETHING TO PLEASE GOD DAMN WORK!”. Yeah that.
After going through some YouTube videos of drug store product reviews I finally settles on one I wanted to try to that was the Revlon PhotoReady Powder. It did cost a little bit more than I was trying to spend on a powder – #brokestudenthere – as it was £11.29 and was double the price of my old one so I was just thinking this better be worth it!
And OMG yes it was! *New fave makeup item alert*! I haven’t not used this yet since I bought it and its amazing.
Lets start with the basics. I really like the way they have packaged the product with the mirror on the inside and the addition of a brush. I haven’t used the brush yet because the hairs are a little coarse and rough, but still if you didn’t have anything else to use it is definitely usable and a nice little touch.
The powder its self is obvs the main most brilliant thing about it. I needed a powder that would last long, would matte my face down and didn’t clump up like my old one did. It ticks all the boxes. It is a heavy coverage powder, so you can hide all the pesky blemishes but if you don’t want a full face then you can also just put less on your brush. There isn’t a lot of fall out from the pan which is good. With my last one, it looked like it was snowing with the amount of fall off that happened. It also has a very smooth consistency and formula so isn’t drying on the skin. I don’t have to reapply it, unless before work in the evening I will just had a tad more to get through until midnight, and I don’t go shiny at all! How insane is that?!
The only one thing I would say against it is that I have already hit the bottom of the pan, so maybe it should be slightly bigger, however for the quality of the product, I think the price is very suitable.
Have you got any faves from Revlon?

Hi! I’m Giana. My blog name is gianashow. I’m new here. Anyhow, I’m glad to read your review because when people only review the expensive stuff, it leaves people with lower amounts of money floundering. I look forward to reading more of your blogs.
BTW-Can you read my blog post and comment? Thanks!
