• Beauty Bits and Brands I Would 100% Recommend

I love love LOVE when someone recommends a good beauty product / brand or just anything that is half decent so that when I buy it I can go “OHEMGEE THIS IS AMAZING” and not “Ughhh great a waste of money”. My worst nightmare is someone reviewing a product and just lying to try to suck up to a brand and then leading people on to think they are good products when they aren’t.
There are some products and brands which when I feature them on my blog or Instagram and people go “I have never tried this brand before!” and I am just WHYYYYYYYYY UUUU NEEEED TOOOOO! Even some of the most common brands around!! So this is why I have created this post. These are some of the brands / products that I would recommend to anyone and if you haven’t tried them what on earth are you waiting for?!

The Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette

I recently got this palette for my birthday and trust me I.CANNOT.STOP.WEARING.IT! The colours in the palette are just some of the prettiest colours I have ever come across. If you have blue eyes this palette and its shade would really make your eye pop BTW. The shadows are just so easy to blend out, and each one matches perfectly so you can make so many gorgeous looks. It’s very pigmented, and the brush that comes with it is ever so soft. Some palettes just include a small scratchy brush but this one is better than most of the eyeshadow brushes I already own!

    The Ordinary Coverage Foundation

I don’t get why this foundation is not sold in every single shop all over the world because it is so much better than any other foundation I have ever tried. And the best thing…. IT IS ONLY £5!! YES you heard me right! It comes in a small bottle, so not as big as some foundations out there, however it has the best coverage, the best serum and the best colour range. The colour guide is basically labelled in a way you will get your colour spot on, as you have to order it online… If you want to find out more about this then check my blog post about it here. It is light on the skin, but gives a natural medium coverage. It has a semi-matte finish so if you have combination skin, or don’t want anything too matte but nothing too oily then this is your babe.

If you know me or read my blog then you will know I am a Lush addict, it is one of my fave shops/places ever and I always rave about their products. But on a seri note it has such good ethical reasons behind its products, and they work wonders. I love all their bath bombs and I will not have a bath unless I have a Lush product to pop in it. From bath bombs, to henna dye, to makeup or body lotions you name it, they have it all. You want a pamper night?? They will sort you out with all the products you need. Also they have the FRIENDLIEST staff in the entire world and you will be catered for very well if you pop into a store.

    Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

There was a stage when everyone went and raved about the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer so I decided to try it. Little did I know I would find the best concealer I have ever put my hands on. It is quite a thick consistency for a concealer, however it covers dark circles and blemishes perfectly, and is waterproof so doesn’t budge if you go swimming or whatevs. It is cheap, good quality and a life saver. I use the lightest shade for under my eyes and the second lightest for blemishes. It would be better if they had more shades – as they only have four – but nonetheless pls try this if you haven’t.

Not really beauty related, more fashion but I had to pop this brand in there. I am often running on a budget, being a student and trying to save for a MacBook and all that, so Boohoo is where I tend to go to for cheap but good quality clothing. For example, the shoes in the photo above…. £7…. BARGAIN. I have weekly deliveries, and they are always doing different types of discounts from next day free delivery to 20% off.
What beauty products would you recommend to anyone??

Is the Naked Heat palette the same formula as the Smokey palette? I am a huge fan of Urban Decay always have been, but have been hesitant to purchase the Heat because they reformulated the Smokey palette and I was not a fan but love love love the colors on this one. Those shoes are super cute too xx

I have the Naked Heat palette, hadn’t used it much but created a look with it on Sunday and absolutely loved it, I’ll definitely be reaching for it more often! Collection Lasting Perfection is my go to concealer, I love the fact they’ve bought out new shades! I wrote a post on my blog a few days back comparing it to the new Makeup Revolution concealer if you’d like to check it out.

I would recommend Charlotte Tilbury! Everything from hers is just gorgeous, and works amazing! It’s a pity it so expensive though. xoxo

You’re making me really want the naked heat palette! It was on my list, but then the tartelette toasted palette came out and I decided to get that one. I tried the ordinary coverage foundation, but felt like it accentuated texture. Loved the serum foundation though!
