Welcome to this little space of the internet that I like to call my own. My blog is a place for me to share with you some of my favourite things, and have a rant every now and then. My passion is in anything lifestyle, fashion and photography related so think of this as my life bundle into separate blog posts. Here’s more about me…
My dreams of being a blogger sparked when I was 15 years old and still at school. I wanted a space which gave me the ability to talk about anything beauty related without delving into the realms of YouTube. Thus, in March 2016 ‘Emily Clare Beauty’ was formed. I have always been a creative person. Whether that was sat in front of the TV on a Saturday night drawing dresses for the Strictly Come Dancing dancers, or scrapbooking. I like to think my blog is an online extension of that. I could say that my blog is going to be full of helpful and meaningful blog posts however I am not going to over promise. If my blog is that little escape, when you are sat on the toilet, or hiding under your desk at work then I am happy. Just think of my blog as a date with a glass of wine. Get cosy. Have a read at why you need a denim skirt in your wardrobe, or my ever-changing views on Instagram.
I am currently a full time student studying a Fashion Media and Marketing degree at university. I am not going to lie – it is my absolute dream course because it involves everything photography, fashion, blogging and journalism related. So me to a tee. I also work part time behind a bar at my local rugby club. I can’t say this is my future, but it keeps the bank ticking over nicely.
Whilst I am at uni, I am fortunate to live at home. However when I graduate if a job takes me somewhere else I am ready to go. Blogwise – its growing. I started my blog on the basis of chatting all things beauty. As any 15 year old experimenting with makeup will understand its all very exciting at the time. However now I have grown up, my blog is growing up too. I am hoping to drop the ‘beauty’ from ‘Emily Clare Beauty’ but for the time it will have to do.
Cheesy classic pop music. Harry Potter (I’m in Gryffindor FYI). Pizza, camembert, burgers. Working out at the gym – if I am motivated to go. Blogging… duh. My own space and time aka I am an introvert. A good jeans and trainer combo. The idea of travelling the world with my one true love. Topshop and H&M.
Want to know anything else? Want to have a little chit chat or a glass of wine? Just send me and email at email@example.com. And oh yeah… I really really hate mushrooms.
